ONLINE SHOPPING: UNIFORM & MORE

We have our own stock of mostly pre-owned uniform items, plus a small number of new items. Re-using donated uniform items can help keep costs down, particularly when boys grow so quickly duirng their BB membership. Sustainability in practice!

Our online store is on this website click this link or 'store' in the page header - Store | 212th Glasgow Boys Brigade.

If you've got uniform items (the current version only and in good condition) that are no longer of use, feel free to drop them in to the 212th, washed & pressed and we'll get them added for sale so someone else can use.

For those looking for brand new uniform items, these are avaialble at two Boys Brigade online locations:

Our store also has a selection of 212th merchandise. Show your support and help raise funds for the 212th by purchasing from our selection of beanies, snoods, mugs, bags, etc.

SESSION 2026-27

The summer is almost over and we'll be starting back at the 212th soon for the new session.

Company/Seniors will resume activities on Friday 28 August (7-9pm), with Anchors and Juniors resuming on Monday 31 August (Anchors 6-7pm; Juniors 7.15-8.30pm).

Normal section times and meeting locations apply.

More details will be issued to existing members in due course via parental contact emails. For anyone new to the 212th (that hasn't already made contact with us) drop us an email and we'll provide more detail or come along at the advertised meeting times.

We're in the process of building our activities schedule for the session which will be updated to the calendar opposite as well as on our facebook page. Keep an eye on both.

FUNDRAISING FOR BEATSON TEENAGE CANCER TRUST

Our chosen charity in during 2025-26 session was Beatson Teenage Cancer Trust, with funds being raised in memory/tribute to a 212th member that we lost to cancer 20 years ago at the age of 15, Shaun McBride. Shaun was a dedicated member of the 212th from Anchors through to Seniors and prior to his passing was the recipient of the Best Senior Trophy. We continue to remember Shaun each year through the presentation of a trophy dedicated in his name, which is awarded to the Best Company Boy.

Fundraising consisted of a 'soup & sandwich' lunch after church in March, which raised a phenominal £600 and a loose change collection undertaken by boys across all sections. Some boys also used their own initiative raising funds through a bake sale (kudos to Ben & Harry). With all the funds now collected, we recently transferred a total of £1329.92 to the Beatson - the biggest amount we've raised for a nominated charity.

Well done to all.

Join us at Cadder South Halls on Saturday 19 September from 10am-12noon for our fundraising Coffee Morning.

Sample and buy fabulous home baking, washing it down with unlimited tea and coffee. Plus try your luck on the tombola and more.

We look forward to seeing you there.
