Following the earlier postponement due to icey/snowy weather conditions, we have rescheduled the quiz night to SATURDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2018, kicking off at 7.30pm at the South Halls. A light buffet will be served at half time and its a BYOB event. £3 per person and a max of 5 persons per team.

Hope to see you and your team mates on the night. Please email to confirm your team entry/numbers to INFO@212GLASGOW.CO.UK , just so we can organise enough cucumber sandwiches!!

CHARITY COLLECTIONS

This session the 212th BB are encouraging the boys to think of others less fortunate than themselves. And in December we launched two appeals in support of two local charities:

  • Glasgow City Mission - a loose change collection in aid of Glasgow City Mission, each boy in the Company being issued with a collection box to fill and return by Friday 26th January 2018. These collections will enable Glasgow City Mission to feed and help those less fortunate and provide them with a nutritious meal, helping them to survive the cold harsh Glasgow winter.

  • The Trussell Trust - food donations for the local East Dunbartonshire Food Bank. Donations will support families living and working in East Dunbartonshire in need of emergency food and support. Items that are needed are:TINNED FRUIT; TINNED CUSTARD; FRUIT JUICE (LONG LIFE 1L CARTONS); TINNED CARROTS; CHOCOLATE BARS; TINNED DOG FOOD.

Donations for the foodbank received before the Christmas break were just short of 40kg, a great effort hopefully a figure we can add to before our final donation/collection date of 26 January. Come that date we'll also total up the funds raised from the loose change collection for the City Mission.

LOOSE COIN COLLECTION BOXES

Update - 31 January: Of the boxes returned so far, we've raised approx. £144 for the Glasgow City Mission. Coin boxes should now be returned to BB.
