-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the 13 February 1970, the 212th Glasgow commenced activities within Cadder Parish Church. Initially a Junior Section was formed and on that first night, 8 boys enrolled. That number soon grew to around 40 and after 5 weeks of meetings the Company was enrolled on 26 March 1970. The following session a Company Section commenced, followed by an Anchor Boys sections (known as Shipmates back in 1970). And over the preceding 40 years the 212th grew and developed into a well established and respected Company of Glasgow Battalion. This year, 2010, the 212th will mark this with a number of special events, which will be detailed on the news and diary dates pages of the website.
